[Sometime throughout the day, Juzo might notice a small slip of paper in his pocket, folded neatly. If he unfolds it, he will be able to read a message written in a looping, yet hurried hand.]
As promised, you have fallen victim to the crime of reverse-pickpocketing! A crime so innocuous, I would bet you a tuppence that you did not even notice this message until well after it had made home in your pocket. :)
However, this time, instead of the hurried scrawl of Herlock Sholmes, this script appears delicate, purposeful, and refined.]
My dearest Mr Inui,
I admit that it has been difficult for me to employ patience up until now, having heard so much about you. That you are wonderful, and strong, and so very thoughtful! But the arranged day is now upon us, and I look forward to finally to making your acquaintance, to confirm these merits that define the mien of a proper gentleman.
Meet me at the beach. Our time together will assuredly be wondrous, indeed.
[ after accidentally-but-also-on-purpose bodyslamming Sholmes into the sand last night, then spending the very early hours trying to swim off her anxious energy in a guilt trip, Yor has shuffled back into Phoenix dorm with a sulky yet renewed determination to get more of her remedial card done...after she makes herself breakfast. ]
Maybe I shouldn't have gone out in the water for three hours when I already had to abstain from eating a half hour before...
[ looking around to make sure the coast is clear, she opens the sometimes forbidden kitchen area for supplies, picking up pickles, cumin pepper, leftover mutant fish, peanut butter and a cantaloupe ]
[What better way to celebrate another game win under Phoenix's belt?
An arcade date with a dear friend, of course!
Not that he would have needed the excuse, given that they had agreed to some kind of outing before the results were announced not too long ago. But it is just one more reason for Sholmes' mood to have bolstered into something bright and enthusiastic, evidenced in the eagerness of his step as they enter the newly established retro arcade.
Which is... not at all "retro" for a man from the Victorian era. The arcade cabinets are bright, strange, and noisy. They are unfamiliar and curious, which is more than enough for Sholmes to grab ahold of Juzo's forearm, tugging him inside the establishment with more haste than before.]
[ Going into this, Juzo was, admittedly, nervous. He never expected to be going on another date - let alone willingly, let alone having initiated it himself - but Sholmes' enthusiasm burns so brightly that it's hard not to find it catching.
He goes where guided with only a token complaint, and the second they walk into the arcade, Sholmes is like a kid in a candy store, but for Juzo... there's something comfortingly familiar about all the flashing lights and neon. It feels like one of the dozens of dives where he's been called to kick out rowdy customers, though his purpose is far from business now. ]
[ BANG BANG BANG goes the door to the Phoenix door. On the camera, there is a tiny gremlin now sporting a large, bright yellow fireman's jacket that she picked up from the costume shop and perhaps maybe even real clothes underneath... it is a mystery. More notably, she also has her big ol' hands back. ]
[ The door swings open after a moment. There is Juzo, hale and whole. He doesn't have his usual trench coat on, but that tight black shirt he's so fond of wearing is back. ]
There's also a small card with a little sketch of the boy from his palace on it. Your friend!! It's not supremely detailed or TOO realistic (Lotor's usual style), since it's drawn from memory in a dire situation, but it's very recognizable. ]
[ He gets a photo text sometime today, of a box in Cerberus colors by the door. RNG gives him fuzzy bunny slippers.
There is also a small bag of cookies that look like they might've been taken from the diner balanced on top. The tag on the cookies bag looks like a little cutesy sketch of Ritsuka giving a V-sign. ]
[ at some point in the evening after the chaos of this morning's prison riot / love fest and ?? a palace ?? are you guys okay?? there's a knock on Phoenix's door. ]
[ lbr this is probably before the palace because time is fake and idk what's going to happen
Anywayβ the door swings open almost instantly at the sound of her voice and there's Juzo, looking just the right amount of flesh to metal to stone ratio. ]
Damn, kid. You're gonna wake the whole motel.
[ And despite it all, there's a smile in his voice. ]
