I am very very dead and while I have full belief people will find a way to visit each other when they return home, that doesn't apply to dead people and I'd rather not hurt this mostly emotional person even more than I already have.

Does this person know that? About you bein' dead, and there bein' a possibility of you not seein' each other again?

And before you say anything, yes I know. I know that it'd probably be fine as long as they accepted that.

[ He angles his head away from her, exhaling a plume of smoke that drifts up and away, before turning to regard her again. ]

You already know I'm no good at this stuff, but here's my two cents anyway: I think you need to decide what you're gonna regret more. If you take the shot now, you might have a chance at somethin' good in this hellhole. Might also open yourself up for a whole lotta hurt. But doin' nothing might prove to be worse, in the end. Seems to me a dead woman's got no room for regrets.
